Southside Community Center Volunteer Project – San Marcos, TX
Join us as we serve alongside Southside Community Center in San Marcos! Volunteers will have the opportunity to support two of their impactful community programs: Homeless Outreach and Senior Living Assistance. *Must fill out Southside Community Registration Link and our RSVP.
Made To Serve Volunteer Project - Central Austin
Join us as we partner with Made To Serve, an outreach ministry dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness through direct, personal connection. Together, we distribute meals, cold water, Bibles, and encouragement, while offering something just as important: genuine human connection. *Must fill out Made to Serve Registration Link and our RSVP link.
Christian Life Austin Block Party - South Austin
Join us as we serve low-income families in our community by providing both warm meals and essential hygiene kits. This project focuses on meeting practical needs while creating a welcoming and encouraging environment for families who may be facing financial challenges.
Homeless Hygiene Kit Project - South Austin
Join us as we serve members of our community experiencing homelessness by distributing hygiene kits, free breakfast tacos, and offering encouragement. This project is a simple but powerful way to meet practical needs while showing dignity, care, and compassion to those who may be going through difficult circumstances.
Central Texas Food Bank - Del Valley, TX
Join us in serving our community through the Fresh Food For Families Mobile Pantry, a program that provides free monthly distributions of fresh fruits, vegetables, and other nutritious foods to low-income families. These distributions help supplement grocery budgets and ensure families have access to healthy, nourishing food. *Must fill out and create an account Texas Food Bank.
Salvation Army Refresh - Austin TX
Join us as we serve a local shelter by helping refresh and restore their outdoor spaces through mulching garden beds and property clean-up. This project is a hands-on way to create a welcoming, peaceful environment for those staying at the shelter. As we care for the grounds, we’re also helping cultivate dignity, renewal, and hope for every person who walks through their doors.
Salvation Army Office Updates - Austin, TX
Join us as we serve a local shelter by supporting office updates through painting railings and refreshing flower beds with new mulch. This project is a practical way to help improve the space where staff and guests are welcomed each day. Through these simple updates, we’re creating a cleaner, brighter environment that reflects care, dignity, and excellence for everyone who steps inside.
Salvation Army Donor Care - Austin, TX
Join us as we serve behind the scenes by assisting with donor care through administrative support. This project is a meaningful way to help strengthen relationships with those who make this work possible. Through thoughtful organization, communication, and attention to detail, we’re helping ensure every donor feels valued, appreciated, and connected to the impact they’re making.

What is Jesus in Austin Serve Day?
A serve day for the young adults in Austin, TX to serve the city. We want to transform the city in one day!

Who can volunteer?
This serve day is specfically for young adults, but you want to help or donate we won't turn you away.

How do I sign up?
The links available above. Please note that some projects require our sign up and the organizations.

How do I choose a project?
Read the description above for each projects.

Where do I go on Serve Day?
To your serve site. The address will be on your ticket in your email.

What time does Serve Day start?
Most projects begin at 10am. We would suggest looking at your ticket to see what time to arrive to your specific project.

What should I wear?
We suggest closed toe shoes and clothes you can move around in.
​
Do I need to bring anything?
If you are participating in the CLA Block Party, We will start collection of care package items in the Jesus in Austin bag.

Can I serve with friends?
Of course. Invite your friends to serve with you. They don't have to go to certain church or even believe in Jesus. We are serving the city.

What kinds of projects are available?
Our main focus this year is serving lower income families and our homeless population. Most of the projects will reflect this focus.

Is there a cost to volunteer?
No, it's free. Just sign up ahead of time.

What happens after I sign up?
Your ticket info goes straight to your email with all of the information needed, like start time and location.
